Arena Configuration

Two Arena Types

Every Forge Arena begins with choosing your primary environment. Most full academies operate both.

OUTDOOR ARENA

Open Field / Ground-Level Setup

Ideal for medium-to-large drones, racing circuits, and long-range training. Requires terrain preparation and perimeter demarcation.

INFRASTRUCTURE COMPONENTS

🏗 Terrain Leveling
Earth-leveling, compaction, and surface preparation for safe drone operations. Debris clearance, uneven ground correction, and boundary marking.
⚡ Power Infrastructure
Generator or grid power for charging stations, simulator equipment, and lighting.
🚧 Perimeter & Safety
Safety perimeter fencing, spectator zones, crash-recovery zones, and airspace demarcation flags.
🎯 Racing Track / Course
Gate posts, flag markers, timing pylons, and course layout for circuit training.
🏠 Operations Hut / Shade
Prefab or tent-based operator station for controllers, monitors, and battery management.
✅ Best for: WhoopScout racing, ASTRA familiarization, Soccer Drone tournaments, long-range drone training
INDOOR ARENA

Netted Enclosure Setup

Ideal for beginner pilots, WhoopScout class micro-drones, and all-weather year-round training. Provides a fully controlled flight environment.

INFRASTRUCTURE COMPONENTS

🕸 Safety Netting System
Floor-to-ceiling high-tensile polyethylene netting on steel frame structure. Standard bay: 20m × 10m × 5m. Expandable in modular bays.
🏗 Steel Frame Structure
Galvanized tubular steel uprights and horizontal beams. Designed for rapid assembly and demount. Anchored to concrete footings.
💡 Indoor Lighting
LED floodlights mounted on structure — no flickering that would interfere with analog FPV video transmission.
🎯 Obstacle Course Inserts
Foam-lined gate frames, hanging targets, timing sensors, and repositionable obstacle panels.
🖥 Simulator Station Bay
Integrated simulator workstation area within or adjacent to the netted bay — keeps simulator and live training in same facility.
✅ Best for: WhoopScout beginners, Soccer Drone matches, Phase 1 simulator + live transition, all-weather operations
Obstacle Systems

Course & Obstacle Catalogue

Every arena can be equipped with modular obstacle elements that match the training phase and drone class.
