How It Works

The Concept

Two teams, each flying their own drones. The "striker" drone attempts to fly through the opposing team's goal frame — the defending team blocks using their own drones. Fast, chaotic, and surprisingly tactical.

Why a Cage?

The spherical PLA cage protects the carbon frame and props during mid-air collisions — which are inevitable in competitive play. The cage allows the drone to bounce off walls, other drones, and obstacles without damage to the flight system.

Training Value

Soccer Drone is used in Phase 1–2 of the Forge Training Program. It builds spatial awareness, team coordination, and goal-directed flight precision in a lower-stakes, indoor-safe environment before pilots transition to outdoor UAVs.

Arena Requirements

Minimum 10m × 8m × 4m indoor netted space. Goal frames (sold separately by Forge) available in 2m and 3m widths. LED-lit gate options available for night play events.
